Job Overview

Position Summary

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Wellbeing Support Coordinator within our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This role is pivotal in assisting older individuals in maintaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Compensation: Approximately £27.5k FTE

Work Arrangement: Full or Part-time options available, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week and a maximum of 37.5 hours per week.

Work Environment: On-site

We focus on delivering person-centered, dynamic, and comprehensive assistance, ensuring our residents can thrive independently. Our funding comes from a mix of investments and income generated through our housing initiatives.

As we embark on an ambitious strategic plan, we aim to expand our outreach and impact within the community, making this role integral to our mission.

Role Objectives

The primary responsibilities of the Wellbeing Support Coordinator include:

  • Assisting the Wellbeing Team Lead and Projects Manager in the daily operations of our housing facilities.
  • Empowering residents to live independently through a holistic and personalized approach.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage with residents to promote independence in their daily activities, providing guidance and resources as needed.
  2. Maintain a visible presence among residents, fostering open communication while respecting personal boundaries.
  3. Collaborate with external organizations to advocate for and support our residents.
  4. Design and implement community enrichment programs that strengthen internal and external relationships.
  5. Work closely with residents and their families to develop and review personalized Wellbeing Plans.
  6. Participate in an on-call rotation to support the Wellbeing Team during peak times and holidays.

Candidate Profile

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in health or social care settings, particularly with older populations.

Familiarity with administrative processes.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse workload independently.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Capacity to build and sustain positive, long-term relationships.
