Position Overview:

To support our ongoing growth, we are in search of a proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented Salesforce Platform Specialist. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing our Salesforce Health Cloud platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product roadmap. The user experience within Salesforce is paramount, and the Salesforce Specialist should be enthusiastic about all facets of user management, including support tickets, training, and crafting solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.

As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce, you will serve as the sole administrator of the platform, reporting directly to the Product Owner. A solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, aligned with our current setup and business objectives, is essential for swiftly identifying areas for improvement. Comfort with change management and governance, along with the ability to communicate and prioritize aspects of Salesforce projects, is crucial. You will confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical information into accessible language and clearly explaining design options and their potential impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of user and license administration, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, organization-wide defaults, and sharing rules.
  • Implement Salesforce configuration changes, encompassing Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, applications, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
  • Oversee sandbox environment management.
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • Recognize unused or underutilized platform features.
  • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Communicate any platform changes to end users and stakeholders effectively.
  • Manage data to enhance Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as necessary.
  • Conduct proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Checks, and Optimizer assessments.
  • Address user support tickets promptly.
  • Monitor and enhance user adoption rates.
  • Provide training for new and existing users.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with integrated applications such as HubSpot and Mailchimp.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce products with a minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Administration, particularly with Sales Cloud or Health Cloud.
  • Possession of Trailhead Badges/Super Badges.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator.
  • Health Cloud and/or Developer certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under critical deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn independently and proactively seek information, capable of working with all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Developer Basics.
