About the Role

Porticus is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Insights Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our 360 Philanthropy team, you will play a critical role in supporting our programmatic colleagues in designing, implementing, and assessing strategies to drive social change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with program managers and challenge leads to design and implement effective strategies that address complex social issues.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess progress toward impact goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Organizational Learning: Contribute to the development of organizational learning and capacity building initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of our programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with sector directors and other stakeholders to ensure that our programs are aligned with the organization's strategic intent.
Requirements
  • Education: PhD in development economics, social sciences, or related field, or Master's degree with equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English language (minimum level C1); additional language(s) a plus, especially Spanish.
  • Experience: Demonstrated track record in strategy, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, including quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
  • Skills: Experience with building organizational capacity in MEL, training and coaching professionals in MEL, and primary data collection.
