About the Role

The post holder will have operational management responsibility for Children's Neurodevelopment Teams and will ensure the provision of high-quality clinical services supporting individuals with access to assessments and appropriate treatment for ADHD and Autism.

The post holder will ensure the coordination and development of the Team, implementing and maintaining services within a defined resource, and working collaboratively with external partners to ensure that mental and physical health needs are supported with parity and to ensure the service operates in a safe, effective, and efficient way as part of the wider health and social care system.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clear visible operational and clinical leadership, upholding and monitoring the clinical standards of the service.
  • Provide managerial supervision to the team and support the Service Manager and Directorate Leads with the delivery of the service.
  • Have extensive experience of working at Band 6 or above.
  • Have effective communication skills and be able to represent the service in meetings, writing reports, responding to complaints, and interface with colleagues from a range of multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills and a passion to make a difference.
  • Be able and willing to travel across all localities of the Trust.
