Conference and Events Specialist

proAV is seeking an experienced Conference & Events Technician to join our London team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical onsite support in event spaces, conference rooms, and meeting rooms.
Key Responsibilities:- Setup and operation of integrated events spaces, including high-profile auditorium-based presentations and town halls.
- Proficient in audio, video, and lighting equipment, both digital and analogue.
- Video conference and audio conference setup and support, including software and hardware platforms like Zoom, Cisco, and Polycom.
- Manage all aspects of video calls, from initial booking to monitoring and completion, including scheduling and system testing.
- Prepare equipment for future events and meetings as required.
- Collaborate with the Breakfix team to locate faults and provide resolutions, including fixing, replacing, or upgrading hardware.
- First- and second-line repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance, including daily checks on all equipment.
- Provide audio visual support to other areas of the business, including setting up PA systems and assisting with presentations in meeting rooms.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Liaise with senior executives and provide excellent customer service.
- Work onsite shifts, including out-of-hours events, and be flexible to meet requirements.
- Liaise with the help desk and operations team to arrange backup support when needed.
- Administer tasks using Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, and bespoke ticketing systems.
- Attend other sites as required and support the Livestreaming team as needed.
- Train and support end users as required.
