About the Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Implementation Team as a Senior Implementation Officer (Infrastructure Planning). This is a two-year, fixed-term contract that provides the opportunity to be part of a key team within Planning Services and have a central role in the delivery of major projects and strategies that will shape the future of the district.

About the Team

The Implementation Team plays a key role in delivering new housing and economic growth to Huntingdonshire. Working alongside colleagues in Strategic Development and Planning Policy, as well as the wider development management planning teams, the team is responsible for working with colleagues and partners to identify infrastructure needs, the mitigation required, the funding package, and the delivery mechanism.

About You

Able to establish effective project management and monitoring of legal agreements and infrastructure project delivery, you'll be experienced in working in planning or associated fields and have an understanding of the political environment in which the planning system operates. An excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills, you'll be knowledgeable in understanding viability requirements and working with experts to assimilate and analyse complex data in a systematic way and to distil and present information.
