Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a committed and empathetic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to become part of our team, supporting inclusive educational environments for students aged 6-16 with diverse special educational requirements.

Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning atmosphere for our students.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized and small group assistance to students with various special educational needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers to plan and execute stimulating lessons.
  • Establishing positive connections with students and their families.
  • Implementing behavior management techniques to maintain a serene and focused educational setting.
  • Assisting students with personal care needs as necessary.

About You:

To excel in this position, you should have:

  • A sincere enthusiasm for working with young individuals with special educational needs.
  • Experience in an educational or caregiving environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • The capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • A flexible and adaptable work style.

All compensation rates mentioned include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
