About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Learning Mentors/Teaching Assistants to support young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a range of mainstream schools across Gloucestershire. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with diverse needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in a variety of settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and one-to-one sessions
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting
