About the Role

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to work as a day-to-day supply teacher across various schools in the region. As a SEN Classroom Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering general class teaching to students with special educational needs, from Primary to Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students with special educational needs
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and report on student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Overseas Equivalent
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undertake one
  • A minimum of 2 satisfactory and recent references
  • Team Teach training desirable but not required
