About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Appointment Management: Manage appointment bookings, provide appointment cards, and ensure patients receive timely access to care.
  • Patient Support: Address patient inquiries, resolve problems, and manage complaints with empathy and efficiency.
  • Practice Procedures: Inform patients about our practice procedures and help them navigate our services smoothly.
  • Phone Support: Provide excellent phone support, answering calls promptly and directing them as needed.
About Us

We are a large, semi-rural, dispensing, research, and GP training practice operating over three surgery sites. We have a fast-growing list size of 22,000 patients and are part of the 5-practice Ketts Oak Primary Care Network.

Person Specification
  • Clear, polite telephone manner and ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Respect patient privacy and handle sensitive information with care.
  • Previous experience as a medical or healthcare receptionist is desirable.
  • Some flexibility is required as you may need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
