Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Air Export Coordinator to join our client's team in the logistics sector. As a key member of the freight forwarding team, you will be responsible for coordinating the export of air freight shipments, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and destination country requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Export Documentation: Create, manage, and maintain accurate and complete export documentation, including customs compliance procedures and documentation.
  • Shipment Planning: Coordinate shipment planning with transport and warehouse teams, overseas offices, and other internal departments to ensure timely and efficient export of air freight shipments.
  • Cargo Handling: Oversee the loading and unloading of export cargo, ensuring proper handling, packaging, and labelling to prevent damage and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing status updates and addressing any enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Carrier Liaison: Liaise directly with carriers and handling agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to export operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in an office environment with strong coordination and communication skills, preferably in the freight forwarding industry or with knowledge of air freight exports.
  • Skills: Proficient at communicating with various departments, with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize and efficiently manage workload.
