Oxford Instruments, a leading global manufacturing group, is seeking a talented Apprentice Production Technician to join our Production Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving solutions across various industries, including microchip technology, quantum computing, and renewable energy.

As an Apprentice Production Technician, you will have the opportunity to progress to HND/HNC level and become a fully-fledged Production Mechatronics Technician. You will be immersed in a busy working environment with learning opportunities, working on state-of-the-art premises in a vibrant city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly of semiconductor systems, working closely with experienced technicians
  • Contribute to the development of operational practices and techniques, growing into a proactive contributor
  • Participate in meetings and teamwork, engaging with subject-matter specialists
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • GCSEs (grade 5 or higher) in Maths, English, Science, and Design and Technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
