About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprentice to join our team at Trinity Fire & Security Systems. As a Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining electronic security systems for our prestigious commercial clients in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Design and install fire emergency and security systems in commercial properties, ensuring they meet professional industry standards.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair system components as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor while working in diverse environments.
  • Teamwork: Work independently or as part of a team to ensure systems are installed and maintained efficiently and safely.
Requirements
  • Education: GCSE pass in Maths and English.
  • Transportation: Clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Interest and Skills: Strong interest in the fire emergency and security industry, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Training and Development

As a Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities, including blended learning, block classroom-based sessions, and practical shadowing with our experienced engineers. You will have the opportunity to earn an ECS card and progress towards achieving EngTech registration by the Engineering Council.

Regular progress reviews will be conducted to ensure that the delivery of training meets the needs of both parties.
