Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Product Development Manager for Fire Products in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, product approvals, and marketing of Fire Products in the UK, while providing support to the MEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Product Development: Ensure legislative compliance of fire products and services, maintain product approval, oversee product quality and performance, and develop new fire products and solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with the Offerings Manager as SAA to promote a global fire product, and work closely with Engineering on fire products.
- Customer Service: Uphold the highest level of customer service as defined in the Armstrong Customer Service Charter, address technical queries related to fire products for the UK, and conduct contract reviews for fire sales order entries.
- Industry Representation: Represent AIL on industry bodies like LPCB and BAFSA, and manage and maintain FM & LPCB product approvals and future European approvals.
- Qualifications: HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering, Professional Diploma in Business Management.
- Experience: Extensive technical knowledge of fire pumps and associated products, practical and office-based experience in the building services industry.
- Skills: Capable of motivating others, able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
