Job Title: Staff Officer Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Officer Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and assistance to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial tasks, including capturing incoming post, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports.
  • Deal with member complaints, FOIs, and SARS relevant to the Financial Services Unit.
  • Report on pension statistics and manage the assurance function, including internal and external audits.
  • Perform other finance duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 1-year post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy or the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.

What We Offer:

As a Staff Officer Accountant, you will work for a civil service department on a contracted basis, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. After an initial training period, hybrid work is available. If you are not able to work full-time hours, then part-time hours are also available for this position.
