We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team at Ecotricity, Britain's greenest energy company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth and delivering effective account management for a portfolio of existing and new customers.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our credit and finance departments, as well as our operational and front-line customer service teams, to ensure our cash and debt position is always considered with every opportunity.
You will also be expected to influence our wider B2B sales strategy, focusing on maximising sales efficiencies and introducing new products and services to meet our overall B2B plan.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new and existing opportunities for business growth
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Working closely with our credit and finance departments to ensure effective cash and debt management
- Influencing our B2B sales strategy to drive business growth and efficiency
- Collaborating with our operational and customer service teams to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
