Job Title: Academic Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader to join our team at the University of Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research, as well as contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and research in the field of electrical and electronics engineering
  • Contribute to the development of our academic programs, including curriculum design and delivery
  • Lead and manage research projects, including securing funding and collaborating with colleagues
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with industry and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of our research strategy and goals
  • Supervise and mentor students and staff
  • Engage in professional development and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Proven track record of research and teaching excellence
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
