About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic academic to join our dynamic and vibrant Department of Computing, within the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a leadership role in shaping the future of our academic community and contributing to our research excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical modules in Computing and Software Engineering areas at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies
  • Engage in applied research and knowledge transfer activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance our research and knowledge exchange activities
Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a PhD or relevant Masters qualification, or equivalent significant industry experience. You should have a passion for delivering innovations in learning and teaching, and a strong track record of research expertise in areas such as Software Development, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Engineering, Internet of Things, and Secure Software Development.
