About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead our Performance Marketing team in driving the growth of our paid channels (PPC, Paid Social, Display & Affiliates) and SEO.

As Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, delivering, and managing multi-million-pound channel campaigns across the UK, US, Europe, and Rest of the World.

You will work closely with the entire digital team and often the wider business, across a range of projects and campaigns, ensuring the output is both strategically relevant and commercially focused.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of a multi-channel paid search, paid social, affiliates & SEO strategy
  • Forecasting and management of a multi-million-pound marketing budget
  • Set annual budgets and targets, working closely with commercial finance and wider digital team
  • Management and development of the performance team and agencies/partners
  • Set and oversee implementation of our paid media strategy
  • Day-to-day management of our paid media agency
  • Working closely with trade, digital experience, CRM, organic, brand marketing, content, design, customer experience, and dev teams, ensuring all activity is commercially focused and in line with our business trading plan.
  • Influencing senior managers, directors, and C-suite
  • Testing and optimizing new campaigns and channels for growth
  • Increasing conversion rates across paid channels
  • Oversee the management of all elements of our affiliate program, including direct relationships with our affiliate network and media agency
  • Defining strategy aligning with your personal, departmental, and the wider business KPIs.
  • Managing and developing direct reports - Paid Media Manager, Affiliate Manager & SEO Manager
  • Working closely and building solid working relationships with agency account directors, managers, and executives as well as ad platform representatives
  • Overseeing our SEO technical roadmap
  • Weekly and period reporting presenting to the Global Digital Director, digital teams, and other senior management
  • Being on top of all internal communications and searching for any opportunities that can be promoted
  • Working with a feed management agency to optimize and improve the product feed which runs across all paid channels
  • Overseeing A/B testing across all paid channels
  • Coordinating ad hoc growth projects internally and with external agencies
Requirements
  • An entrepreneurial mindset where the day-to-day elements of your role are a foundation from which you go on to dream big and deliver, often contributing outside of your specialty
  • Commercially astute and able to manage budgetary requirements necessary to form a positive ROI for the business
  • Experience in working with commercial finance, driving the digital budget and forecasts to achieve gross demand targets and growth
  • Creative and strategic thinker who is resilient and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills as relationships in and out of the business are key to the role
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills which you are able to use to inform the communications strategy as well as your own decision-making and planning
  • Hyper-organized and able to deliver campaigns within agreed timeframes
  • Previous experience in commercially focused environments
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Adaptable to a fast-moving environment and good problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience with all major advertising platforms
  • Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility
  • High standards of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong use of initiative and proactivity coupled with a curious mindset
  • Strong analytics and Excel skills
  • Experience using GA4, Looker, and Funnel preferable
  • Previous digital marketing experience, ideally with a retailer, with strong relevant experience within paid media management and affiliate marketing
