Job Title: Accounting/Billing Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our accounts team in Putney, SW London. As an Accounting/Billing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of bills and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist fee earners in converting work in progress into bills and process bills accurately and promptly.
  • Draft and submit interim and final claims for matters under licensed work and draft bills following assessment of claims.
  • Liaise with fee earners to determine whether assessment will be appealed, draft submissions for appeal, and ensure timely submission.
  • Deal with historic cases and matters where necessary claim amends.
  • Attend monthly billing meetings with fee earners to review WIP, progress of files, and perform housekeeping tasks.
  • Work with the Accounts Assistant to check payment remittances from the LAA and process invoices from counsel, experts, and other providers of service.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
