Job Title: Engagement Accounting E-Billing Specialist

AlixPartners is seeking a highly skilled Engagement Accounting E-Billing Specialist to join our Corporate Services Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective e-Billing process at the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all e-Billing efforts at the firm to support efficient and accurate client invoicing and accounting in accordance with firm policies.
  • Support complex electronic billing (e-Billing) for client engagements, including uploading, monitoring, and resolving issues on various e-Billing vendor sites.
  • Assist with the management, administration, and maintenance of e-Billing process, including maintaining profiles for each electronic billing vendor and documenting e-Billing process procedures.
  • Set up and maintenance of client e-Billing accounts in third-party vendor sites.
  • Review eBilling submissions for accuracy and submit and monitor the invoices for acceptance.
  • Address all rejected invoices timely and submit timekeepers and rates for approval.
  • Maintain user accounts and profiles on each site and handle sensitive and urgent informational requests from clients, AlixPartners personnel, and other contacts.
  • Demonstrate positive people attributes, be a supportive team member, and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
  • Communicate proactively with colleagues and contribute towards the advancement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire order to cash value stream.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business or related field strongly preferred.
  • Relevant accounting/finance experience preferred, ideally in a consulting or similar professional services firm.
  • Previous experience with Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; able to learn new systems and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are a benefit.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently, with a positive, entrepreneurial attitude.
