Role Overview: As the Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in enhancing the financial performance of De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance to manage daily financial operations, ensuring precise and timely financial reporting, maintaining comprehensive financial records, and enforcing robust financial controls.

Additionally, you will assist in the formulation of the annual budget and contribute to bi-weekly financial forecasts as required. This role includes direct supervision of three team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial activities, including purchase ledger management, ideally within the hospitality or events sector.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of payroll and productivity metrics relevant to the events industry.
  • Utilize financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with proficiency.
  • Exhibit strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Communicate effectively and foster the development of junior team members.
  • Possess an AAT level 4 qualification or equivalent.
