Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the generation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with various finance teams to develop and sustain reporting solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Partner with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve any reporting-related challenges.
- Lead initiatives aimed at transforming reporting processes, including the rollout of a new global consolidation reporting system.
- Utilize advanced tools such as Power BI, Hyperion, and Cognos to derive actionable insights from data.
- Analyze trends and common issues to contribute to broader finance projects.
- Interpret data to inform key business decisions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Promote best practices in data governance across the finance team.
- Assist with external audit processes and financial analysis.
- Support the integration of newly acquired entities into our financial reporting systems.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to data analysis and presentation.
- Ability to think critically and develop logical solutions to complex problems.
- Proven experience as an administrator or super-user of Oracle Financials and Hyperion systems.
- Project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with experience in analyzing large datasets.
- Ability to coordinate resources across teams to achieve project goals and provide training to team members.
- Proficiency in MS Office and advanced reporting tools, including Power BI and SQL.
- Advanced skills in Hyperion and SmartView, with a focus on report creation and data manipulation.
