Adferiad Recovery offers a supportive service for individuals facing challenges related to youth issues, including adverse childhood experiences, criminal exploitation, harassment, and academic pressures. This initiative is supported by local government funding.

The role encompasses managing the service, engaging with young individuals, their families, and other professionals involved in their care. The Service Operations Manager will serve as the primary liaison for the project, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of positive and effective professional relationships among staff and service users.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement the service in accordance with established specifications and performance monitoring.

• Oversee the daily operations of the service, consistently evaluating the quality and effectiveness of support provided by the team.

• Lead the processing of approved referrals and ensure compliance with established procedures for regular support plan reviews.

• Work collaboratively with service users to achieve their personal goals and the objectives of the project, utilizing innovative approaches to enhance outcomes.

• Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective service that prioritizes the needs and preferences of individuals.

• Promote the empowerment of service users, enabling them to make informed choices about their lives and encouraging their active participation in the community.

• Foster a culture of feedback, encouraging service users to share their experiences and participate in evaluation processes.

• Manage and coordinate the staff team, ensuring flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the service.

• Maintain high standards of documentation and record-keeping, ensuring readiness for audits and compliance checks.

• Supervise staff performance, providing guidance, setting objectives, and identifying training needs to support professional development.

• Encourage a culture of positive risk-taking and continuous learning within the team.

External Collaboration

• Communicate effectively and professionally with service users, support staff, families, and external professionals through various channels.

• Ensure timely and high-quality communication both internally and externally.

• Facilitate referrals to specialized services as needed and maintain accurate data for monitoring and quality assurance purposes.

• Attend relevant training and meetings as required to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in managing service operations and leading a team.

Educational Requirements

  • NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

  • Further qualifications in relevant fields.

  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
