Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a committed Quality Control Engineer to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with evaluating both new and existing software and hardware to ensure compliance with established specifications. Your collaboration with our Research & Development team will be essential in providing insights and maintaining our products at optimal standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform functionality assessments of software and hardware
- Stay updated on industry benchmarks and Protec systems
- Work alongside R&D to resolve issues
- Develop test harness applications utilizing Python
- Offer assistance to team members and clients
- Identify faults and evaluate returned items
- Generate comprehensive testing reports
- Support EMC testing efforts
- Full electrical certification (City & Guilds, ONC, HNC)
- Experience in the electrical/electronic industry
- Understanding of electrical circuits and measurement instruments
- Expertise with technological tools
- Capability to assist others in problem-solving remotely
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Genuine enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to work
