Job Title: Hospitality and Events Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospitality and Events Coordinator to join our team at Lexington Catering. As a key member of our event sales team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing events, and ensuring seamless execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the event sales team, including printing menus, updating weekly overviews, and liaising with the hospitality operational team.
    • Assist with contracting and billing, and maintain accurate client records and databases.
  • Event Management:
    • Organize client events and work closely with other departments to ensure successful execution.
    • Prepare and follow up with clients on proposals, quotations, and contracts, maximizing revenue opportunities.
    • Conduct site visits of event spaces and guide clients through the planning process.
  • Sales and Marketing:
    • Work closely with the Sales team to drive new business and achieve budgets and set targets.
    • Provide excellent customer service through every element of the event enquiry, utilizing strong selling skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork:
    • Communicate frequently with clients and manage multiple inboxes.
    • Work collaboratively with the Sales team to drive revenue growth and repeat business.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or administration.
  • Excellent standard of communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent working in a team or alone.
