Job Title: Channel Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Marketing Manager to join our team at Currys. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our Services are represented optimally in our marketing plan and within all marketing channel executions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the presence of our full range of Services propositions within marketing channels, working together with channel specialists to deliver the Services Marketing Plan.
  • Represent Services within the business' mega marketing processes, including Quarterly Promotion & Event Planning and Annual Planning processes.
  • Deliver on Services-initiated briefs within the Quarterly Promotion & Event Plan, ensuring optimum presence within marketing channels.
  • Subscriptions Marketing Planning, ensuring third-party offers brought to market by Currys are well represented within our marketing channels.
  • Services Marketing within our Post-Point of Sale channel, ensuring all of our Services propositions are well represented in this area.
  • Support the Senior Planning & Marketing Manager to create relevant inputs within the E2E process of reviewing performance across Services.
Requirements:
  • Experience of both the electricals market and products.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to manage several different stakeholders, at all levels.
  • Advanced planning, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, capable of presenting to team forums as well as working cross-functionally to achieve desired results.
  • Detail-oriented problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience of working to deadlines and managing critical paths.
  • Experience within a commercial or performance-driving environment, preferably driving performance within a marketing or commercial marketing role.
  • Excellent understanding of customer-facing execution of services propositions and the ability to collaborate and land in-channel initiatives across multiple channels.
  • Good knowledge of adjacent markets and competitors (Retail, Services, and Technology).
  • Experience working within a Financial Services organisation, FMCG, or retailer.
  • Good working knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as MS Office workflow tools.
