About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join our community team for adults with learning disabilities. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a highly specialist physiotherapy service, demonstrating highly specialist expertise and specialist physiotherapy skills in areas such as mobility and postural management.

Main Duties
  • Independently manage a caseload of people with learning disabilities with postural needs and a wide range of health conditions.
  • Take part or initiate appropriate quality measures, research or clinical studies that can improve the service and the experience of the service users.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, carers, and other local services.
  • Deliver formal and informal training to staff and carers and participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision.
