The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Adults Community Physiotherapy department. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to adults in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat adults with various physical disabilities and conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional abilities and quality of life
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Conduct clinical supervision and training for students and provisional members

Requirements:

  • Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy (BMR –PT) or equivalent entry-level requirement in Physiotherapy
  • Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba (CPM)
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Outlook/Email
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population
  • Proficiency in both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
  • Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality
  • Good work and attendance record

Conditions of Employment:

  • Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate
  • All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policy
  • Requires a valid driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000
