Job Title: Adults Community Physiotherapist

Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team in the Adults Community Rehabilitation Services department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to adults in a community setting. This will involve assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal physical function and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals
  • Provide direct intervention, consultation, and education to patients, families, and caregivers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and services
Requirements:
  • Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy (BMR – PT) or equivalent entry-level requirement in Physiotherapy
  • Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba (CPM)
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Outlook/Email
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced community setting, providing services to adults with varying physical and functional needs. The Physiotherapist will be required to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
