Position Overview:

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Breakdown Customer Care/Sales and Renewals Handler who will deliver a high-quality and professional service to our clients. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service while managing daily administrative tasks with precision and efficiency within established timelines.

This is a part-time position, operating on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9am to 5.30pm, with a hybrid work model available post-training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent advice to clients, ensuring clear guidance and explanations.
  • Deliver a friendly and supportive service, showcasing a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Manage workload effectively under pressure.
  • Adapt to new processes and procedures, providing necessary feedback for improvement.
  • Handle mid-term adjustments and cancellations for existing policies.
  • Collect payments for policy amendments or missed direct debit payments.
  • Address customer inquiries throughout the duration of their policy.
  • Exhibit high levels of communication, organization, thoroughness, and time management to efficiently manage daily tasks.
  • Assist Breakdown Claims Advisors by answering calls and coordinating appropriate service levels on a case-by-case basis.
  • Provide training and coaching as needed.
  • Quote and finalize new business inquiries.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Retain existing clients during renewal periods.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional products that may meet specific customer needs.
  • Work towards achieving individual performance targets.

Required Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, including empathy and effective resolution of challenging situations.
  • Capability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in PC usage, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
