Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Administrator to join our team at Highland. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality, effective, and customer-focused inspection, repair, and maintenance service for our public buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that maintenance works and services are delivered safely and effectively managed across our built estate.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, and develop solutions to address them.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff, and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect and assess maintenance activities, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Recognized trade apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years as a tradesman and a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, or relevant experience in property maintenance management in an organization with a significant property portfolio.
  • Relevant experience in a Clerk of Works/Building Services Inspection role in an organization with a significant property portfolio.
  • Clean driving license.
