Position Overview

The EMEA MDM Technology Lead will oversee the definition of MDM offerings and manage all initiatives associated with MDM technologies for our EMEA clientele. The selected candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert, supporting both the sales team in business development efforts and project teams in execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define offerings related to MDM technologies.
  • Contribute to responses for RFPs and other business development initiatives, shaping comprehensive solutions and estimating effort, cost, and timelines.
  • Assist in outlining project scope and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Support project managers in adjusting project scope, schedules, and costs.
  • Regularly align with the IQVIA MDM Product team to understand new elements in the offering and influence product enhancements and roadmaps.
  • Supervise all EMEA MDM initiatives, collaborating with IQVIA project managers to monitor progress (high-level status, costs, issues, etc.), identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide delivery support as a Subject Matter Expert, engaging directly with clients.
  • Recommend improvements and contribute to defining actions for enhancing internal processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related technical field.
  • Over 8 years of relevant experience in consulting or as a product owner/project manager for MDM initiatives, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • Strong project management and relationship-building skills.
  • Subject matter expertise in effectively managing MDM projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of processes and challenges typical of MDM initiatives.
  • In-depth understanding of MDM architectures.
  • Familiarity with MDM tools (e.g., Reltio, Informatica, TIBCO, etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others across the organization to achieve team objectives.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
