About the Company
Our client is a large-scale operator in the property industry, with a strong reputation for excellence and integrity. They are committed to delivering high-quality services and are seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and company guidelines.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights to inform business decisions.
- Process balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements, maintaining up-to-date financial data in databases.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to drive efficiency and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a strong understanding of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in major accounting software packages, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.
- A strong understanding of the construction industry, with experience in property finance a plus.
