Office Coordinator

Location: HMP Altcourse

Salary: £24,000 Per annum

Working hours: 40 hours per week

As an Office Coordinator at HMP Altcourse, you will deliver comprehensive administrative support tailored to your designated functional area.

Candidate Profile:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Responsible for preparing and managing essential documents and files, engaging in data entry, and liaising with external organizations.
  • Addressing inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail to enhance output and service delivery within the department.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the HMP Altcourse Management Team.
  • Communicating with key internal and external stakeholders regarding all administrative matters within your assigned function.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams, is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking administrative role is crucial.
  • Experience in a similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with prison systems (e.g., NOMIS / CMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues while providing effective solutions.
