This position is responsible for overseeing, mentoring, and enhancing the Financial Close team within the organization to guarantee an efficient month-end financial closing process, with an emphasis on adhering to reporting timelines. The role encompasses managing the financial closing procedures for the organization, including consolidations, reconciliations, and supervising the payment and receivable functions for vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and enforcing financial controls while identifying areas for enhancement.
- Leading the month-end closing process and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
- Providing support for both internal and external audits.
- Effectively managing team members and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
- Driving initiatives for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
