About this Opportunity

Gleeds is a leading professional services firm that has secured major projects and programmes in the public and central government sector. We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our team in the Glasgow office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of large-scale new build projects and fit out works across various locations in the North Region.
  • Provide excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues, programme leads, client representatives, consultants, and contractors on site.
  • Deliver projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality services and deliverables that meet customer requirements.
  • Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives and positively engage with customers to develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Administer contracts as a contract administrator, employer's agent, or project manager, and produce and present to customers.
  • Mentor and coach employees to realise their full potential and prepare bids for services.
  • Manage service delivery for profit and advise directors promptly of any issues that may impact on Gleeds' professional indemnity insurance.
Requirements
  • Sound project management and/or programme management experience post qualification.
  • Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques.
  • Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent, and/or Project Manager.
  • Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.
  • Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams.
