About the Role

We are seeking a skilled 3D CAD Draughtsperson to join our dynamic team at Bell Building Projects Ltd. As a 3D CAD Draughtsperson, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of facade remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Detailed CAD Drawings: Create accurate and detailed CAD drawings and plans for facade remediation projects, including elevations, sections, and details.
  2. Conduct Site Visits: Gather data and measurements necessary for drafting accurate remediation plans through site visits.
  3. Create and Revise Technical Drawings: Develop and revise technical drawings based on field surveys, project specifications, and client requirements.
  4. Ensure Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.
  5. Coordinate with Teams: Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure seamless implementation of remediation plans.
  6. Prepare Project Documentation: Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, schedules, and specifications.
  7. Maintain Project Archives: Maintain an organised and updated archive of project drawings and documents.
Requirements
  1. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in facade remediation or installation works.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and other relevant drafting tools.
  4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of building construction, materials, and facade systems.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
  6. Adaptability: Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to project changes and challenges.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
