About The Role

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Junior Buyer to be a key part of our Egham team, representing proAV, taking full responsibility for purchasing goods and services to meet business and client expectations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, Junior Buyer to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Purchasing Team Lead and Team Members in achieving business objectives.
- Analyze and compare costs of goods and services to ensure optimal purchasing decisions.
- Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers to meet business needs.
- Draft and issue purchase orders up to authorized limits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage Purchase Orders in SAP from pricing to receipt, ensuring seamless procurement processes.
- Select business partners based on commercial and program factors, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Review inventory across multiple warehouse locations to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Update and maintain project data in spreadsheets, including lead times, due dates, and receipts.
- Develop and manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Communicate effectively with the business and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Restock excess hardware, considering future demand and costs.
- Manage business partner data on SAP and price lists, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Resolve purchase ledger queries and analyze supplier reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
