Business Development Manager

RGB Recruitment is collaborating with a reputable contractor to fill the role of Business Development Manager.

This position involves developing new market leads and new business opportunities, identifying new and strongly performing markets, engaging with key companies operating within these markets, and securing opportunities to quote for and win new business.

The contractor offers a wide range of new build and refurbishments schemes within Education, Health, Defence, Leisure, and Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finding leads to new work and chasing them down to create tender opportunities
  • Developing strategies for converting opportunities into profitable revenue
  • Ensuring maximum attendance at events (dinners, lunches, award ceremonies, charity events, exhibitions, etc.)
  • Developing a joined-up networking system of both face-to-face meetings and other channels such as social media
  • Ability to develop strong and profitable relationships with key stakeholders and customers
  • Meeting business secured workload targets
  • Maintaining existing client portfolio through account management
  • Building relationships with Clients and Consultants to improve retention rate
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of business development and sales development within the construction industry
  • Exceptional communications – verbal, written, visual
  • Experience in SalesForce and Microsoft products
  • Comprehensive industry knowledge (regulatory, technical, and competitor)
  • Relevant driving licence
