Job Title: Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies to individuals with common mental health problems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in low-intensity CBT and other therapeutic approaches. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including assessment, formulation, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop programmes of care for patients with common mental health problems
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies, including low-intensity CBT and other therapeutic approaches
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in regular supervision and peer review to ensure high standards of practice
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Low Intensity CBT or a related field
  • Experience of working in primary care or IAPT services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of low-intensity working models and other therapeutic approaches
