Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Bridgewater Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.
  • Assist residents with their physical, emotional, and spiritual care needs, in line with their individual care plans.
  • Contribute to the daily records of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment, with a Care Certificate or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of care practice, with a focus on the care of older people.
  • Ability to work in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation and confidence, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
