About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Data and Information Team Lead to join our team at Bolton Council. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a crucial role in informing people-related decisions and driving the people analytics agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and dashboards to support HR decision-making
  • Provide forecasting and scenario analysis to inform strategic HR initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex HR data into meaningful reports and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and cultivate a culture of collaboration
  • Manage staff and develop a high-performing team to deliver outcomes that support the achievement of our People Plan
Requirements
  • Experience in HR analytics and data management, with a strong understanding of HR information systems and data structures
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex HR datasets and experience in managing staff
  • Strong organizational skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with people at all levels
  • Flair for clear communication and ability to effectively communicate data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience of working independently, in a team, and with stakeholders, with the ability to multi-task and deliver on key workforce projects
