Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at a newly acquired nursing home in Chelmsford. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the team to excel daily, providing family liaison and resident support, and promoting a positive work environment and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire the team to achieve daily goals and objectives, promoting a positive work environment and professional growth.
  2. Family Liaison and Resident Support: Provide family liaison and resident support, ensuring that the needs of residents and their families are met.
  3. Care Planning and Auditing: Assess, implement, and audit care plans to ensure that residents receive high-quality care.
  4. Staff Supervision and Mentoring: Supervise and mentor staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  5. MDT Collaboration: Work with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care.
  6. CQC Preparation and Management: Prepare for and manage CQC inspections to ensure that the nursing home meets regulatory standards.
  7. Safeguarding and Risk Management: Identify and manage risks to residents and staff, ensuring that the nursing home is a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: A valid NMC Pin - RGN/RMN or RNLD qualified.
  2. Experience: Experience working with Dementia/Elderly Care and mentorship experience.
