Job Summary:
Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain standards of care delivered by care staff, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care and support.
- Support the Home Manager in implementing policies, procedures, and business objectives, ensuring that the home operates efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and manage the staff duty rota to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes in their needs and ensuring that care plans are updated accordingly.
- Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring that any reasonable requests are met and concerns or complaints are addressed promptly.
- Liaise with the Home Manager to assume responsibility for managing the home during their scheduled and unscheduled absences.
- Contribute to team working, responding positively to colleagues and acting on work instructions promptly.
- Advise on the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills and a highly motivated attitude.
- A friendly and caring approach, with the ability to engage well with residents and their families.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working with people with dementia.

- Competitive salary of £23.00 per hour, equivalent to £53,820 per annum.
