IT Support Specialist
- The organization seeks a proven IT support specialist with expertise in Azure networking, Azure Fileshares/Filesync, cloud PCs, cloud servers, and related technologies.
- Experience in maintaining effective IT processes, procedures, and network switch installations is essential.
- Capable of efficiently coordinating and addressing daily IT challenges and requirements, either directly or within the team, ensuring that support tickets are appropriately assigned and resolved.
- Assist the IT manager in implementing and overseeing a diverse range of IT systems and projects.
- A willingness to lead, coach, or mentor a small team would be beneficial, as there are excellent opportunities for career advancement.
As a Level 3 IT Support Specialist, you will contribute to the implementation of new systems and service migrations, lead upgrades of computer systems and software, maintain computer networks, communication systems, connectivity, and security, and collaborate with external vendors for software, hardware, and services.
Essential Skills / Experience:
IT Support Specialist
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Azure network tools and a solid understanding of Microsoft best practices.
- Certification as a Microsoft user is preferred; Cisco, Watchguard, and similar certifications will also be considered.
- Ability to integrate effective IT processes, procedures, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, data storage systems, and telecommunication systems.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills are required, along with demonstrated project leadership capabilities.
- Ability to oversee information security and maintain network and user security through hardware or software installation capabilities.
