Position Overview
THIS POSITION IS TEMPORARY DUE TO SERVICE REQUIREMENTS.
We are seeking two dedicated Patient Records Administrators to join our Health Records Department. The roles are full-time, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. Initially, you will focus on our Filing Library, with opportunities to engage in various responsibilities within the department.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Organizing and retrieving patient files, ensuring availability for outpatient appointments, planned admissions, and day case procedures.
- Preparing patient documentation for outpatient and inpatient visits.
- Utilizing a computerized patient administration system for data entry and retrieval.
- Handling telephone inquiries professionally.
- Scanning patient records to assist the Medical Examiners Service.
A flexible mindset is essential to meet the evolving needs of the service, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team is crucial.
