Senior Practice Lead Opportunity

Cheshire West and Chester Council's Family Help and Support Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practice Lead to join their Early Help and Prevention Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a strong performing team that focuses on achieving the best outcomes for families, children, and young people.

The Senior Practice Lead will oversee the work of Family Intervention Workers who assess the needs of children aged 0-19 and their families with complex and multiple needs. They will deliver a package of interventions using the Team Around the Family process and work towards sustained outcomes for families.

The successful candidate will ensure that Family Intervention Workers play a lead role in advocating for families, signposting them to effective support, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures. The Early Help and Support thematic is underpinned by trauma-informed approaches that are responsive to need and have an inclusive and partnership focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Family Intervention Workers to deliver high-quality services to families and children

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a similar role or in a related field
