Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This newly created role will play a critical part in shaping the finance function and its outputs, as we continue to expand globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Produce high-quality management accounts and oversee month-end processing
    • Provide financial analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting
    • Develop and maintain financial forecasts to inform business planning and decision-making
  • Accounting and Compliance
    • Evaluate the company's performance using key data and performance indicators
    • Ensure the quality and accuracy of financial data and reports
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Supervise and develop a team member responsible for billing and payables
    • Lead the development of the billing process and strategy
  • External Partnerships
    • Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors to ensure compliance and best practices

Requirements

  • Post-qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and Xero highly beneficial
  • Working knowledge of STRIPE and Hubspot (equivalent CRM) desirable
  • Analytical mind with aptitude in numeracy
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Organisational and leadership skills
