Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Winery Production Specialist for an evening shift role, working four days a week.

Upon joining Nyetimber, you will start with day shifts for training purposes. After completing the training, which is expected to take approximately three months, you will transition to afternoon shifts to benefit from extended production hours, ultimately moving to a permanent evening shift.

Shift Hours:

  • Temporary Day Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Temporary Afternoon Shift: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Permanent Evening Shift: 3:30 PM - 1:45 AM

Work Schedule: The day and afternoon shifts will be from Monday to Friday, while the evening shift will be from Monday to Thursday.

Compensation will increase by 10% upon moving to the afternoon shift and by 20% when transitioning to the permanent evening shift.

We are expanding our Cellar Team and invite applications for an experienced Winery Production Specialist. This role involves responsibilities related to the production of high-quality sparkling wine, with regular collaboration with our Winery and Warehouse Production Assistant, Cellar Manager, and Winemakers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all winery production tasks accurately and promptly, including handling both wine in tank and bottled stock.
  • Serve as a deputy for the Cellar Supervisor, operating the disgorging and bottling lines as needed.
  • Train junior staff and new hires on winemaking processes to ensure they can work under supervision.
  • Operate the Padovan earth filter and heat exchanger.
  • Act as shift supervisor during harvest periods if required by management.
  • Be flexible with working hours, especially during critical periods such as harvest.
  • Collaborate with all winery team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, serving as a role model for temporary staff.
  • Work at any Nyetimber production facility as necessary.
  • Stay updated with personal training records and winery Standard Operating Protocols and Risk Assessments.
  • Complete any required training as prescribed.
  • Represent Nyetimber positively when interacting with external parties.
  • Communicate passionately and knowledgeably about wine production at Nyetimber.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
